Astor Cresenciano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eleuterio Telesforo took the ball and in the 6 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Victoriano Fanuco. Victoriano Fanuco dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Aldo Chabier managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ananá AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Aldo Chabier was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Astor Cresenciano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Astor Cresenciano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Timoteo Astigar in the 15th minute of the match. Timoteo Astigar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Astor Cresenciano having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Cajón's zone, Aldo Chabier stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Astor Cresenciano came out of the goal and Aldo Chabier tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Astor Cresenciano didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 21st minute, which inside left pole to 1-1. 27 minutes into the match, Cajón's Eleuterio Telesforo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Victoriano Fanuco narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Aldo Chabier might have been able to make a better finish in the 29th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Astor Cresenciano. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Aldo Chabier ran back to his position shaking his head. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Paolo Iraido in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Victoriano Fanuco saved Ananá AFC from getting behind. 33 minutes into the match, Cajón's Paolo Iraido sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Victoriano Fanuco narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Paolo Iraido came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Cajón fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Paolo Iraido couldn't finish the play. After 44 played minutes Cajón got a freekick which was hit by Zeledon Asteri. Timoteo Astigar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 48th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

The wind increased when Eleuterio Telesforo made the kick off in the second half. In the 61st minute, Eleuterio Telesforo reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Victoriano Fanuco. The goal made the score 1-2. Eleuterio Telesforo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Victoriano Fanuco having to make a save. Victoriano Fanuco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eleuterio Telesforo in the 69th minute of the match. Aldo Chabier's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Astor Cresenciano read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 72nd minute of play. Paolo Iraido sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.
