Fermin Urdaspal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Gustavo Solustiano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Narciso Bieito in the 44th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gustavo Solustiano saved Vaqueros FC from getting behind. Vaqueros FC's Gustavo Solustiano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fermin Urdaspal in the 48th minute of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Fermin Urdaspal made the kick off in the second half. With an all-out effort, Chillar's Gustavo Solustiano threw himself towards the right post 80 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Fermin Urdaspal, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Cristian Cordarrell fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Silvestre Gonsalve having to interfere. After 85 played minutes Chillar got a freekick which was hit by Gonzalo Efraim. Silvestre Gonsalve showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teobaldo Videl, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Damaso Martino during the 89th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The audience was convinced that Cristian Cordarrell's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Silvestre Gonsalve was relentless in the 91st minute of the game. The supporters of Vaqueros FC booed when Chillar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 97 match minutes in a wonderful position. Damaso Martino didn't get a good kick on the ball. Chillar's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
