Melquiades Montay sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 25th match minute, Franck FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cesar Dino to maneuver through the defense. Frías's Benedicto Bernebe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teo Aznaro in the 32nd minute of play. Teodoro Pabla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aurelio Jatsu in the 34th minute of the match. In the 35th minute Teo Aznaro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benedicto Bernebe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teo Aznaro in the 37th minute of play forced Frías's goalkeeper Benedicto Bernebe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Teo Aznaro stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Teo Aznaro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Franck FC getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Cesar Dino hit a great ball. Melquiades Montay sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Melquiades Montay got free with Teodoro Pabla in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 80 minutes into the match, Franck FC's goal looked a bit too open when Aurelio Jatsu came free, but Teodoro Pabla reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 81st minute, Aurelio Jatsu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ciriaco Matteo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benedicto Bernebe having to interfere. In the 94th minute Aurelio Jatsu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teodoro Pabla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cornelio Florin during the 96th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Frías played a much better game than Franck FC and deserved their victory. The Franck FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
