In the 36th minute, Ciriaco Matteo made a precise shot to the right of Wilfredo Timo. Berdier's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. If Teo Aznaro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eustaquio Urtzi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Eustaquio Urtzi to strike the kick off in the second half. After 52 played minutes Berdier got a freekick which was hit by Placido Handi. Teo Aznaro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Wilfredo Timo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Wilfredo Timo made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Ciriaco Matteo sent off a good shot on target. Berdier's Wilfredo Timo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teo Aznaro in the 69th minute of play. Teo Aznaro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wilfredo Timo having to interfere. In the 73rd minute, Eustaquio Urtzi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Teodoro Pabla was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Eustaquio Urtzi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Teo Aznaro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Wilfredo Timo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 83rd minute of play.
