The referee ignored Basail's protests and gave Nicolas Justin a yellow card for diving instead. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 11th minute of the game. One of Basail:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Oliva FC:s goal. The referee gave Oliva FC a penalty, 14 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Teobaldo Pepillo, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Basail's Leonel Rumaldo. 0-1. Serafino Marino was out of position in the 16 minute of play, and Victorino Cristofol capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Victorino Cristofol really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. In the 21st minute, Dalmacio Santio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Basail's Leonel Rumaldo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Modesto Galoer in the 23rd minute of play. Leonel Rumaldo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Melchor Pio in the 24th minute of the match. In the 30th minute Melchor Pio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leonel Rumaldo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 59 minutes into the game, Modesto Galoer cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Leonel Rumaldo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Victorino Cristofol managed to get in a good position for a shot. Basail's supporters rose to their feet, but Victorino Cristofol was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Serafino Marino breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 66 minutes into the game, Victorino Cristofol was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Basail's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Oliva FC the free kick. Victorino Cristofol kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. Teo Domenec's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Serafino Marino read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 73rd minute of play. In the 80th minute of the match Denis Baudelio sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Leonel Rumaldo skillfully saved the ball. Teo Domenec hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. The supporters of Oliva FC booed when Basail was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zacarias Elixio didn't get a good kick on the ball.
