In the 4th minute the ball was on its way in behind Manantiales's goalkeeper Aaron Guillerme, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ruperto Senen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Saturnino Lazcano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Zacarias Elixio charged in rather forcefully in the 9th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Zacarias Elixio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Basail booed when Manantiales was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eusebio Rafe didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Ruperto Senen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ruperto Senen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leonel Rumaldo having to interfere. Basail's Leonel Rumaldo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Saturnino Lazcano in the 40th minute of play. Leonel Rumaldo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ruperto Senen in the 41st minute of play. Saturnino Lazcano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Leonel Rumaldo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 47 played minutes Basail got a freekick which was hit by Cleto Marino. If Ruperto Senen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 50th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Victorino Cristofol made the kick off in the second half. When the match clock showed 57 minutes, the score became 1-2 when Saturnino Lazcano sped through Basail's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Leonel Rumaldo. Manantiales's Aaron Guillerme played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Victorino Cristofol in the 65th minute of play. 68 minutes into the match, Manantiales's goal looked a bit too open when Victorino Cristofol came free, but Aaron Guillerme reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aaron Guillerme took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nereo Estebano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Manantiales's Eusebio Rafe got a free kick in the 74th minute. Nereo Estebano struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Aaron Guillerme didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Basail. After 78 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Basail! The goalkeeper, Leonel Rumaldo, was totally fooled by Manantiales's Florentino Dei, who 80 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. After a defensive mix-up in Basail's zone, Saturnino Lazcano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leonel Rumaldo came out of the goal and Saturnino Lazcano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 86 minutes into the match, Basail's goal looked a bit too open when Ruperto Senen came free, but Leonel Rumaldo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Victorino Cristofol sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 97th minute, Lisandro Cordearo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the final whistle sounded Manantiales left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Basail.
