Oliva FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gorchs the free kick. Serafino Marino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Everardo Heriberto in the 11th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Gorchs's Jimeno Ospin got a free kick in the 12th minute. Melchor Pio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Oliva FC's Modesto Galoer got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Melchor Pio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Americo Galindo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Melchor Pio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Modesto Galoers short, quick shot in the 26thth minute got Americo Galindo to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Gorchs's Americo Galindo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Melchor Pio in the 31st minute of play. Cleto Fernandes kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Enzo Aguilera managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gorchs's supporters rose to their feet, but Enzo Aguilera was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Serafino Marino breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Gorchs booed when Oliva FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Melchor Pio didn't get a good kick on the ball.
