Inocencio Jenaro struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Gogo Rami didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ascasubi. After a rather tough play, Timote AFC's Mario Palban got a free kick in the 18th minute. When Octavio Federigo fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Timote AFC's protests and gave Octavio Federigo a yellow card for diving instead. In the 20th minute, Octavio Federigo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Florentino Guerrero was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 20th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Fernando Abad sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 38th minute, Inocencio Jenaro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Claudio Ferran hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. Gregorio Ayalas short, quick shot in the 43rdth minute got Leonides Maties to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. If Ruperto Peter had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 47th minute Inocencio Jenaro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gogo Rami saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

Leonides Maties made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gregorio Ayala in the 52nd minute of play. With his leg Gogo Rami managed to avoid a goal in the 55thth minute, when Ascasubi's Inocencio Jenaro fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Ruperto Peter kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Gregorio Ayala blasted a shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Leonides Maties having to make a save. 60 minutes into the game, Timote AFC's Fernando Abad nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Leonides Maties made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. When Gregorio Ayala came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the Timote AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gregorio Ayala couldn't finish the play. Inocencio Jenaro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Gogo Rami made a huge save. In the 72ndth minute of the game Gregorio Ayala who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ascasubi's Leonides Maties was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Fernando Abad sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Claudio Ferran hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. Ascasubi's Leonides Maties played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gregorio Ayala in the 89th minute of play. Leonides Maties took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gregorio Ayala, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gregorio Ayala took the ball and in the 96 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Leonides Maties. Leonides Maties dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0.
