Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Cuesta FC's Osvaldo Firman started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Osvaldo Firman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 4th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 6 minutes into the game, one of Ascasubi:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Ascasubi:s Leonides Maties showed great skill when he stopped Raimundo Oxarra:s penalty. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Isaac Quinito during the 11th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 16 minutes into the match, Ascasubi's goal looked a bit too open when Osvaldo Firman came free, but Leonides Maties reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ruperto Peter in the 17th minute of play forced Cuesta FC's goalkeeper Romeo Itzaina to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 24th minute, Severo Bixintxo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Osvaldo Firman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Raimundo Oxarra hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ruperto Peter was the one to do the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ruperto Peter in the 56th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Romeo Itzaina prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Romeo Itzaina made an important save on a dangerous shot by Inocencio Jenaro in the 59th minute. Ruperto Peter might have been able to make a better finish in the 61st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Romeo Itzaina. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ruperto Peter ran back to his position shaking his head. 62 minutes into the match, Cuesta FC's goalkeeper Romeo Itzaina had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Inocencio Jenaro. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Guido Torres during the 63rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 63rd minute, Guido Torres hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Florentino Guerrero was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 63rd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 69th match minute, Ascasubi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ruperto Aguirre to maneuver through the defense. 70 minutes into the match, Cuesta FC's Raimundo Oxarra broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In the 71st match minute, Ascasubi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fernan Vincent to maneuver through the defense. Ruperto Aguirre hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Severo Bixintxo might have been able to make a better finish in the 74th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Leonides Maties. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Severo Bixintxo ran back to his position shaking his head. 74 minutes into the match, Osvaldo Firman notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Ascasubi's Leonides Maties. Leonides Maties was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ascasubi's Inocencio Jenaro got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 82nd minute Hernan Mogel suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. After 82 minutes, Ruperto Aguirre mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ascasubi and the Cuesta FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 83rd minute, Ruperto Aguirre hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fernan Vincent was shown his second yellow card after 89 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 90th match minute, Ascasubi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fernan Vincent to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Severo Bixintxo in the 92nd minute of play forced Ascasubi's goalkeeper Leonides Maties to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Inocencio Jenaro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 97th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Cuesta FC had won after a very even match.
