Flavio Chan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leon Baumer having to interfere. Flavio Chan might have been able to make a better finish in the 21st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Leon Baumer. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Flavio Chan ran back to his position shaking his head. Filiberto Timo's late challenge caught a Sarmiento FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Filiberto Timo helped the player get up and apologised. 22 minutes into the game, one of Pueblito AFC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Astor Gonsalvo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pueblito AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Astor Gonsalvo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rodolfo Arnalt breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Sarmiento FC's Joaquin Asteri got a free kick in the 41st minute. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Aureliano Harriet to strike the kick off in the second half. When the match clock showed 54 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Aureliano Harriet sped through Sarmiento FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Rodolfo Arnalt. A very good chance. 83 minutes into the match, Pueblito AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Ciro Belo came free, but Leon Baumer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Flavio Chan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Flavio Chan came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Sarmiento FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Flavio Chan couldn't finish the play. The Sarmiento FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Pueblito AFC's performance. The match ended with a win for Pueblito AFC.
