After 36 minutes of play, Tareirí's Atilano Phelipe made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cayetano Urbasa was left in no man's land by his defense there! Cayetano Urbasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Atilano Phelipe in the 44th minute of play. In the 45th minute Hipolito Galeno shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cayetano Urbasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 46 minutes, Isidoro Silvanito mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Quilino FC and the Tareirí players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 46 played minutes Quilino FC got a freekick which was hit by Isidoro Silvanito. Tareirí's Atilano Phelipe got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ulises Jesco made a kick off. Atilano Phelipe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Cayetano Urbasa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Albano Frans was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 90 minutes had been played. Tareirí were awarded a corner in the 94th minute after Quilino FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Higinio Hitzeder took the corner. The corner ended in Gustavo Jaen almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Quilino FC's Cayetano Urbasa did a great save.
