A collision led to Animaná getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Eustaquio Tadzio hit a great ball. Saturnino Illart fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Everardo Millrick having to interfere. Saturnino Illart sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Romulo Rubio fell near the penalty area in the 24th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Animaná's protests and gave Romulo Rubio a yellow card for diving instead. In the 28th minute, Benjamin Ermano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Placido Peruanton hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Ariel Ladio blasted a shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Generoso Cordaro having to make a save. In the 39th minute, Benjamin Ermano fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Everardo Millrick, passed just outside the right post. Animaná's Romulo Rubio got his second yellow card of the match in the 40th minute. The referee ordered Romulo Rubio off the ground. After 41 played minutes Animaná got a freekick which was hit by Romulo Rubio. When Honorato Lauren fell near the penalty area in the 42nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cereales FC's protests and gave Honorato Lauren a yellow card for diving instead. In the 43rd minute, Honorato Lauren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

After a rather tough play, Animaná's Placido Peruanton got a free kick in the 51st minute. 56 minutes into the game, Ariel Ladio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Animaná's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cereales FC the free kick. In the 56th match minute, Animaná was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ariel Ladio to maneuver through the defense. After 59 minutes Animaná's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Miguel Quinten who took care of the corner kick. Generoso Cordaro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ariel Ladio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Cereales FC defense, Ariel Ladio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Generoso Cordaro. The Cereales FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Generoso Cordaro should have stopped the shot. 67 minutes into the match, Cereales FC's goalkeeper Generoso Cordaro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ariel Ladio. In the 69th match minute, Cereales FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Honorio Aurken to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Ariel Ladio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Animaná's supporters rose to their feet, but Ariel Ladio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Generoso Cordaro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Generoso Cordaro made a fantastic save in the 73rd minute, when Ariel Ladio sent off a good shot on target. Ariel Ladio in the 77thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Generoso Cordaro, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Benjamin Ermano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Everardo Millrick tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Animaná getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Placido Peruanton hit a great ball. When Saturnino Illart came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Cereales FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Saturnino Illart couldn't finish the play. If Benjamin Ermano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 92nd minute, Cereales FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Placido Peruanton fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. With a little luck, Cereales FC's Generoso Cordaro got control of the ball when Ariel Ladio tried to sneak it across the goal line.
