The supporters of Rivadavia FC booed when Ampata FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dionisio Petrigai didn't get a good kick on the ball. Danilo Franco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Braulio Vergaray tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 14th match minute, Ampata FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Isidoro Gonzales to maneuver through the defense. If Joel Buinton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gervasio Jaunzuria made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silverio Sesuldo in the 30th minute of play. 32 minutes into the match, Rivadavia FC's goal looked a bit too open when Guido Gora came free, but Gervasio Jaunzuria reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Guido Gora struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Gervasio Jaunzuria didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ampata FC. After 34 played minutes Rivadavia FC got a freekick which was hit by Virgilio Maraman. Gervasio Jaunzuria stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Guido Gora's shot from short distance in the 41st minute. If Guido Gora had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Danilo Franco in the 52nd minute of play forced Ampata FC's goalkeeper Braulio Vergaray to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 52nd match minute, Ampata FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Isidoro Gonzales to maneuver through the defense. If Danilo Franco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Rivadavia FC getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Virgilio Maraman hit a great ball. If Joel Buinton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Braulio Vergaray took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Buinton, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 78 minutes of play, Ampata FC's Silverio Sesuldo made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gervasio Jaunzuria was left in no man's land by his defense there! The audience thought a goal was coming when Silverio Sesuldo got free with Gervasio Jaunzuria in the 82nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
