Rivadavia FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Joel Buinton was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fabio Rivero breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Arnoldo Nuñez fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rivadavia FC's protests and gave Arnoldo Nuñez a yellow card for diving instead. In the 17th match minute, Rivadavia FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arnoldo Nuñez to maneuver through the defense. Virgilio Maraman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 33rdth minute of the game Edgard Loramendi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Rivadavia FC's Gervasio Jaunzuria was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Fabian Nuñez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fabio Rivero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Buinton, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dionisio Torres stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Edgard Loramendis short, quick shot in the 56thth minute got Gervasio Jaunzuria to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Joel Buinton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 75 played minutes Honorato Peio shot from long distance. At first the shot seemed to be simple for Rivadavia FC's Gervasio Jaunzuria to catch but Honorato Peio was lucky.
