Arnulfo Benvide started the match with the kick off. Ladislao Eusko showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jacobo Eguzki, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Ladislao Eusko took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jacobo Eguzki, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 16 minutes into the match, Volcán FC's Fausto Servando sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ladislao Eusko narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Virgilio Henry fell near the penalty area in the 21st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Jarimana's protests and gave Virgilio Henry a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Volcán FC booed when Jarimana was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Virgilio Henry didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jacobo Eguzki received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Ladislao Eusko tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fausto Servando struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Ladislao Eusko didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Volcán FC. 31 minutes into the match, Jarimana's goalkeeper Ladislao Eusko had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fausto Servando. 33 minutes into the game, Jacobo Eguzki recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ladislao Eusko. Jacobo Eguzki showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Jarimana's Ladislao Eusko proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to save Jarimana from getting a goal against them.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jacobo Eguzki to strike the kick off in the second half. Niceto Lucado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jarimana's Ladislao Eusko played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jacobo Eguzki in the 57th minute of play. Jarimana's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Volcán FC the free kick. A collision led to Jarimana getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Remigio Vasco hit a great ball. Jacobo Eguzki fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ladislao Eusko having to interfere. Jarimana's Ladislao Eusko played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jacobo Eguzki in the 67th minute of play. Ivan Guifre made an important save on a dangerous shot by Niceto Lucado in the 69th minute. If Jacobo Eguzki had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ladislao Eusko made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jacobo Eguzki in the 86th minute of play. 88 minutes into the game, Volcán FC's Arnoldo Chago nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ladislao Eusko made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arnulfo Benvide in the 91st minute of play forced Volcán FC's goalkeeper Ivan Guifre to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ivan Guifre took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Remigio Vasco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Volcán FC had won after a very even match.
