Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Fernando Derwin took the kick off in the first half of the match. Ezequiel Eguntsenti's late challenge caught a Copacabana AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ezequiel Eguntsenti helped the player get up and apologised. In the 4th match minute, Copacabana AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maximo Blasi to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 5th minute, Fernando Derwin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Monteverde's supporters rose to their feet, but Fernando Derwin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Carmelo Froila breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ezequiel Eguntsenti received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Carmelo Froila tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gabriel Gines hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fernando Derwin in the 14th minute of play forced Copacabana AFC's goalkeeper Carmelo Froila to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Teodosio Frasco hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. After having played for 23 minutes, Fernando Derwin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Monteverde's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fernando Derwin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Leopoldo Hernandez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Haroldo Belasko tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Haroldo Belasko showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maximo Blasi, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Fernando Derwin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 37 minutes into the match, Copacabana AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Fernando Derwin came free, but Carmelo Froila reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fernando Derwin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Leopoldo Hernandez made the kick off in the second half. The long shot by Benedicto Nabar in the 54th minute really tested Haroldo Belasko's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. When Cecilio Dino fell near the penalty area in the 57th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Copacabana AFC's protests and gave Cecilio Dino a yellow card for diving instead. In the 57th match minute, Copacabana AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cecilio Dino to maneuver through the defense. Ezequiel Eguntsenti struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Carmelo Froila didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Monteverde. When Leopoldo Hernandez came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Copacabana AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leopoldo Hernandez couldn't finish the play. Leopoldo Hernandez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With 76 minutes on the clock, Carmelo Maurino commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Copacabana AFC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 76th minute. Penalty! Filomeno Phelipe shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. In the 85th minute Fernando Derwin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carmelo Froila saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 86 minutes, Gabriel Gines mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Copacabana AFC and the Monteverde players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 86th minute, Gabriel Gines hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Teodosio Aureo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Haroldo Belasko tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Carmelo Froila made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ezequiel Eguntsenti in the 94th minute of play. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
