Fernando Derwin didn't get a good kick on the ball. 26 minutes into the game, Fernando Derwin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Monteverde's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ramblón AFC the free kick. Fernando Derwin hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Ezequiel Eguntsenti could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Roque Erauso made a huge save. In the 33rd minute, Damian James hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ramblón AFC's Roque Erauso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fernando Derwin in the 34th minute of play. Aaron Rico sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fernando Derwin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roque Erauso having to interfere. Monteverde's Fernando Derwin got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fernando Derwin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Monteverde getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Fernando Derwin hit a great ball. Fernando Derwin took the ball and in the 55 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Roque Erauso. Roque Erauso dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Roque Erauso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ezequiel Eguntsenti in the 61st minute of the match. Monteverde were awarded a corner in the 68th minute after Ramblón AFC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Filomeno Phelipe took the corner. It was a well-played corner which Teodosio Frasco managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. An unexpected shot in the 72nd minute by Serafin Berto got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 79th minute, Gualterio Pere hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ramblón AFC's Aaron Rico got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Teodosio Frasco during the 84th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Monteverde's Teodosio Frasco got a free kick in the 84th minute. In the 85th minute, Conrado Ekaitz sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Monteverde's Haroldo Belasko didn't even have to move. Ezequiel Eguntsenti blasted a shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Roque Erauso having to make a save. Roque Erauso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fernando Derwin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ramblón AFC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
