In the 22nd minute, Eustaquio Lando hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ladislao Gauargi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Luciano Rubio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Reynaldo Maldonado, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Eustaquio Lando who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 31stth minute tested the skills of Luciano Rubio when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 33 minutes into the match, Federico Aznar dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Luciano Rubio, 1-0. Mauro Jurgi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benito Calisto in the 38th minute of the match. In the 44th match minute, Talaini FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ladislao Gauargi to maneuver through the defense. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Reynaldo Maldonado made a kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Elida AFC's zone, Mauricio Gerazan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luciano Rubio came out of the goal and Mauricio Gerazan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Talaini FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 57th minute, when Benito Calisto scored to the left of an out of position Mauro Jurgi, making the score, 1-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Reynaldo Maldonado in the 63rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Luciano Rubio saved Elida AFC from getting behind. 68 minutes into the match, Reynaldo Maldonado notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Elida AFC's Luciano Rubio. Luciano Rubio was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the match had gone on for 73 minutes, Eustaquio Lando put it in 3-1 from a short distance just to the right of Luciano Rubio. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eustaquio Lando in the 77th minute of play forced Elida AFC's goalkeeper Luciano Rubio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Reynaldo Maldonado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eustaquio Lando fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luciano Rubio having to interfere. Talaini FC's Mauro Jurgi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to save Talaini FC from getting a goal against them. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Paulo Oro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Elida AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Paulo Oro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mauro Jurgi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Federico Aznar hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. After having played for 94 minutes, Paulo Oro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Elida AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Paulo Oro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
