Celedonio Gaufred charged in rather forcefully in the 7th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Celedonio Gaufred the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Celedonio Gaufred hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Leon Ioritz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Felix Romildo was relentless in the 8th minute of the game. Donato Darien showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Isaias Jerano, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Gabriel Cresenciano's late challenge caught a Cololo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gabriel Cresenciano helped the player get up and apologised. After a defensive mix-up in Cololo's zone, Isaias Jerano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Donato Darien came out of the goal and Isaias Jerano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Cololo's Ubaldo Romelio got a free kick in the 31st minute. In the 34th minute, Cololo's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Rodolfo Tartalo fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. 35 minutes into the match, Portalis's Isaias Jerano sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Donato Darien narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Donato Darien took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isaias Jerano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rogelio Mino scored 0-1 in the 43rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Felix Romildo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Rodolfo Tartalo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Donato Darien having to make a save. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rogelio Mino stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With 60 minutes on the clock, Aristides Gasteiz commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. The referee gave Portalis a penalty, 63 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Clemente Errolan, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Cololo's Donato Darien. 1-1. If Isaias Jerano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
