Rodolfo Tartalo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mauro Jurgi having to interfere. If Reynaldo Maldonado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 8 minutes into the game, Eustaquio Lando cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Felix Romildo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Eustaquio Lando who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 17thth minute tested the skills of Felix Romildo when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Mauro Jurgi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Isaias Jerano, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. After having played for 23 minutes, Rodolfo Tartalo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Portalis's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rodolfo Tartalo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Remigio Licerio charged in rather forcefully in the 24th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Remigio Licerio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Talaini FC getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Remigio Licerio hit a great ball. 25 minutes into the game, Rodolfo Tartalo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Mauro Jurgi was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 28th minute Reynaldo Maldonado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Felix Romildo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Felix Romildo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eustaquio Lando in the 30th minute. The supporters of Portalis booed when Talaini FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Federico Aznar didn't get a good kick on the ball. Clemente Errolan, 35 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 36th minute Isaias Jerano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mauro Jurgi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 38th minute, Isaias Jerano made a precise shot to the right of Mauro Jurgi. Talaini FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

Felix Romildo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eustaquio Lando, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Ciro Efren charged in rather forcefully in the 54th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Reynaldo Maldonado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Felix Romildo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Felix Romildo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Reynaldo Maldonado in the 73rd minute of the match. Eustaquio Lando received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Felix Romildo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 85th minute of the match, Rodolfo Tartalo got a very nice opportunity to score, but Mauro Jurgi was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Isaias Jerano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Portalis's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
