The supporters of Vilgo booed when Majada was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Teobaldo Vedillo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Norberto Oton struck a weak shot in the 8th minute. Agustin Haimar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Majada. If Anier Deunoro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Armando Orlo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andres Handi having to interfere. Agustin Haimar was out of position in the 20 minute of play, and Anier Deunoro capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Anier Deunoro really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Agustin Haimar made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Norberto Oton sent off a good shot on target. Norberto Oton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Agustin Haimar having to interfere. Andres Handi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Armando Orlo in the 29th minute of the match. After 29 minutes of play, Vilgo's Armando Orlo made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Andres Handi was left in no man's land by his defense there! Denis Valery received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Andres Handi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 40 minutes into the game, Anier Deunoro cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Agustin Haimar was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Anier Deunoro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Agustin Haimar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Armando Orlo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Norberto Oton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Francisco Oinatz during the 56th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Majada's supporters rose to their feet, but Anier Deunoro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Agustin Haimar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Agustin Haimar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Norberto Oton, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Denis Valery got free with Andres Handi in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
