Amadeo Lugo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gavino Chinto in the 3rd minute of play. Islas's Samuel Gentza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Conrado Markel in the 4th minute of play. In the 5th minute, Segundo Sasoin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Camilo Guipuzkoa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amadeo Lugo having to interfere. Amadeo Lugo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gavino Chinto, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. If Gavino Chinto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gavino Chinto struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Amadeo Lugo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Islas. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Camilo Guipuzkoa in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Amadeo Lugo saved Barrialito from getting behind. 25 minutes into the match, Islas's goal looked a bit too open when Conrado Markel came free, but Samuel Gentza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 27th minute Conrado Markel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Samuel Gentza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Conrado Markel managed to get in a good position for a shot. Barrialito's supporters rose to their feet, but Conrado Markel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Samuel Gentza breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Amadeo Lugo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Camilo Guipuzkoa, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. 43 minutes into the match, Islas's goal looked a bit too open when Conrado Markel came free, but Samuel Gentza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gavino Chinto was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to Barrialito getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Celestino Dimo hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gavino Chinto in the 57th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Amadeo Lugo saved Barrialito from getting behind. Octavio Maurin hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Camilo Guipuzkoa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amadeo Lugo having to interfere. When Gavino Chinto came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the Islas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gavino Chinto couldn't finish the play. Gavino Chinto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Amadeo Lugo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 79th minute, one of Islas:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Islas. If Conrado Markel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Barrialito getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Hugo Marques hit a great ball. Gavino Chinto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Amadeo Lugo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. For all the effort they put into the match, the Islas players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Barrialito.
