Esteban Raphael recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 29th minute, Esteban Raphael got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Monsalvo FC's Fabricio Caitano got a free kick in the 31st minute. After 35 minutes, Saturnino Monte mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cañada and the Monsalvo FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Monsalvo FC booed when Cañada was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Saturnino Monte didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 36th minute Inocencio Salomon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Delmar Omero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Monsalvo FC's Esteve Prejun proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to save Monsalvo FC from getting a goal against them.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Flavio Bento to strike the kick off in the second half. Flavio Bento received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Delmar Omero breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the final whistle sounded Monsalvo FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Cañada.
