Delmiro Firmo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Esteve Prejun read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 5th minute of play. 9 minutes into the game, Benicio Mel recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Esteve Prejun. Benicio Mel showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Victorino Vincente recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Esteve Prejun took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Delmiro Firmo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Flavio Bento's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cayetano Ritchie read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 19th minute of play. Cayetano Ritchie showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marco Elorri, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Marco Elorri struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Cayetano Ritchie didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Monsalvo FC. Marco Elorri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cayetano Ritchie having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marco Elorri in the 30th minute of play forced Timbues's goalkeeper Cayetano Ritchie to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marco Elorri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cayetano Ritchie having to interfere. 35 minutes into the match, Victorino Vincente notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Monsalvo FC's Esteve Prejun. Esteve Prejun was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After having played for 39 minutes, Marco Elorri managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Monsalvo FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marco Elorri was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 40th minute, one of Timbues:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Timbues. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Flavio Bento to make the kick off. Victorino Vincente sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 56th minute Delmiro Firmo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Esteve Prejun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Monsalvo FC's Fabricio Caitano got a free kick in the 56th minute. Flavio Bento sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Benicio Mel hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Flavio Bento managed to get in a good position for a shot. Monsalvo FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Flavio Bento was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cayetano Ritchie breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 64th play minute Marco Elorri came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Cayetano Ritchie. 2-2. Cayetano Ritchie showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Flavio Bento in the 69th minute of the match. Victorino Vincente fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Esteve Prejun having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Victorino Vincente in the 75th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Esteve Prejun saved Monsalvo FC from getting behind. Marco Elorri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cayetano Ritchie having to interfere. Flavio Bento sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 90th minute, Freddy Nastasio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 92nd minute, Marco Elorri got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
