If Mauricio Gustau had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lucio Salvidor struck a weak shot in the 11th minute. Reynaldo Alfonso didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Azampay FC. After having played for 14 minutes, Lucio Salvidor managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Azampay FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lucio Salvidor was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Lucio Salvidor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Lucio Salvidor came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the Azampay FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lucio Salvidor couldn't finish the play. Reynaldo Alfonso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Silvio Francesco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Azampay FC booed when Talamuyuna was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bernardino Olando didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 29th minute Silvio Francesco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Reynaldo Alfonso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 29th minute, Bernardino Olando hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Silvio Francesco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Reynaldo Alfonso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Reynaldo Alfonso stood somewhat misplaced when Lucio Salvidor came free in front of goal and shot 1-0 to the left of him in the 41 minute. After having played for 46 minutes, Silvio Francesco managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Azampay FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Silvio Francesco was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Azampay FC's Silvio Francesco slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Reynaldo Alfonso. That made the score 2-0 after 48 minutes of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Silvio Francesco to strike the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the match, Azampay FC's goalkeeper Guido Garaile had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Anselmo Cordaryal. In the 60th minute, Lucio Salvidor made a precise shot to the right of Reynaldo Alfonso. Talamuyuna's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. Guido Garaile took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mauricio Gustau, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 67 minutes into the match, Azampay FC's Lucio Salvidor sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Reynaldo Alfonso narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 69 played minutes Azampay FC got a freekick which was hit by Faustino Bibiano. Mauricio Gustau fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Guido Garaile having to interfere. Guido Garaile took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mauricio Gustau, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lucio Salvidor in the 85th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Reynaldo Alfonso saved Talamuyuna from getting behind. Azampay FC's Silvio Francesco got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Talamuyuna's Reynaldo Alfonso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lucio Salvidor in the 90th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Lucio Salvidor's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Reynaldo Alfonso was relentless in the 93rd minute of the game. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Azampay FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Talamuyuna had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
