If Marciano Iratxo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Nazca getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Fausto Sabino hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Carlos Firme's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Americo Madaleno was relentless in the 9th minute of the game. Marciano Iratxo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nicolas Tulio charged in rather forcefully in the 13th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nicolas Tulio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 13th minute of the game. One of Burruyaco FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Nazca:s goal. The referee gave Nazca a penalty, 15 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Anier Feo, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Burruyaco FC's Americo Madaleno. 0-1. Nazca's Aquiles Atarratze played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Claudio Leoncio in the 18th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Burruyaco FC's Florentino Canor slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Aquiles Atarratze. That made the score 1-1 after 19 minutes of play. Fausto Sabino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Americo Madaleno tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 24th minute, Marciano Iratxo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Claudio Leoncio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Through an outstanding action, after 28 minutes, Aquiles Atarratze successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Marciano Iratxo struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Americo Madaleno didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Nazca. Marciano Iratxo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 38th match minute, Burruyaco FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ermegildo George to maneuver through the defense. After the first half Nazca were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Carlos Firme was the one to do the kick off. Nazca's Aquiles Atarratze played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Claudio Leoncio in the 54th minute of play. If Marciano Iratxo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marciano Iratxo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Carlos Firme fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Americo Madaleno having to interfere. Carlos Firme sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Prudencio Ekialde's late challenge caught a Nazca's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Prudencio Ekialde helped the player get up and apologised. Prudencio Ekialde kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. In the 65th minute Carlos Firme shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Americo Madaleno saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marciano Iratxo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Americo Madaleno tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marciano Iratxo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 97 minutes into the game, Marciano Iratxo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Nazca's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Burruyaco FC the free kick. Marciano Iratxo kicked well hit freekick during the 97th minute of the match. Despite being the better team, Nazca failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
