In the 10thth minute of the game Ermegildo Chus who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ancón AFC's Candido Faro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Agustin Kiliz during the 15th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Baltasar Gonzalez, 16 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Benedicto Kemen hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. In the 19th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ancón AFC's goalkeeper Candido Faro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 42nd minute, Anacleto Sagrario reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Ulises Vellito. The goal made the score 2-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Teodoro Baumar in the 47th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Candido Faro saved Ancón AFC from getting behind. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Romeo Jorrin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Uriel Rosario sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 60 minutes into the match, Zonda AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Anacleto Sagrario came free, but Ulises Vellito reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Ancón AFC's zone, Teodoro Baumar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Candido Faro came out of the goal and Teodoro Baumar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ancón AFC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
