In the 24th minute Carmelo Pabla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vinicio Hegoi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cullen FC's Rolando Kusko played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teobaldo Hodei in the 28th minute of play. Filomeno Luken struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Vinicio Hegoi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cullen FC. Rolando Kusko didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Teobaldo Hodei went, in the 48th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Teobaldo Hodei stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Domingo Benvide received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Rolando Kusko tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vinicio Hegoi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carmelo Pabla in the 96th minute of play. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
