Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Teobaldo Hodei took the kick off in the first half of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Domingo Benvide in the 5th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gregorio Basajaun saved Tacoyoj FC from getting behind. Teobaldo Hodei sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Tacoyoj FC booed when Huanguelén was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wilfredo Monico didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eduardo Venceslas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 19 minutes into the match, Tacoyoj FC's goal looked a bit too open when Domingo Benvide came free, but Gregorio Basajaun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Domingo Benvide received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Gregorio Basajaun tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 29thth minute of the game Urbano Lohitzun who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Huanguelén's Vinicio Hegoi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After having played for 40 minutes, Eduardo Venceslas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tacoyoj FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eduardo Venceslas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gregorio Basajaun stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Teobaldo Hodei's shot from short distance in the 43rd minute. Tacoyoj FC's Urbano Lohitzun got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Wilfredo Monico during the 47th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 48th match minute, Huanguelén was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wilfredo Monico to maneuver through the defense. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Urbano Lohitzun made a kick off. Huanguelén's Domingo Benvide got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Domingo Benvide had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 59th minute Teobaldo Hodei shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gregorio Basajaun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Teobaldo Hodei had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 63 minutes into the match, Eduardo Venceslas had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Vinicio Hegoi. Huanguelén's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eduardo Venceslas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Omar Haimar managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tacoyoj FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Omar Haimar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vinicio Hegoi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Tacoyoj FC's Omar Haimar got a free kick in the 72nd minute. Gregorio Basajaun was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Serafin Tebaldo. 74 minutes into the game, Teobaldo Hodei cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Gregorio Basajaun was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 78 played minutes, Huanguelén's Silvestre Gumaro shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Gregorio Basajaun came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Huanguelén reached it. Wilfredo Monico hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. When the match clock showed 81 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Eduardo Venceslas sped through Huanguelén's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Vinicio Hegoi. In the 89th minute, Eduardo Venceslas left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Tacoyoj FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. 95 minutes into the game, Tacoyoj FC's Vinicio Ermengol nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Vinicio Hegoi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. For all the effort they put into the match, the Huanguelén players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Tacoyoj FC.
