Elvio Cugat showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ismael Errando in the 30th minute of the match. In the 40thth minute of the game Ismael Errando who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ballester's Elvio Cugat was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Rene Salomone's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Zeledon Justin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 42nd minute of play. In the 46th minute, Ballester's Celedonio Baraquiel dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Celedonio Baraquiel made the kick off in the second half. In the 59th minute, Cristian Nabar made a precise shot to the right of Elvio Cugat. When the referee blew the final whistle, Ballester could leave the field as winners, despite Elisa having more of the ball for most of the match.
