Nicolas Laffitte sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 7 minutes into the match, Aguilares's goal looked a bit too open when Froilan Eneas came free, but German Jayvier reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Americo Roldan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 14 minutes into the game, Peñico's Nicolas Laffitte nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. German Jayvier made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Alejandro Remicio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Arturo Kinsen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Francisco Lidon charged in rather forcefully in the 27th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Francisco Lidon the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Aguilares booed when Peñico was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Francisco Lidon didn't get a good kick on the ball. Arturo Kinsen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Americo Roldan in the 29th minute of play. Arturo Kinsen was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Americo Roldan showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 36 minute of play. Arturo Kinsen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Americo Roldan, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

In the 56th minute Americo Roldan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arturo Kinsen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arturo Kinsen stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Americo Roldan's shot from short distance in the 57th minute. After a rather tough play, Peñico's Ovidio Obeko got a free kick in the 58th minute. Alejandro Remicio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alejandro Remicio in the 67th minute of play forced Peñico's goalkeeper Arturo Kinsen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arturo Kinsen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Americo Roldan in the 68th minute of the match. When the match clock showed 70 minutes, the score became 1-3 when Nicolas Laffitte sped through Aguilares's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of German Jayvier. In the 75th minute, Alejandro Remicio ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Arturo Kinsen was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. 79 minutes into the game, Alejandro Remicio cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-3. Arturo Kinsen was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The supporters of Aguilares booed when Peñico was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ovidio Obeko didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Americo Roldan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
