Ladislao Procopio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 9th minute of the match, but Raul Gasteiz made a huge save. Argentina FC's Mauro Constancio couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 12th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Hornillos AFC. The supporters of Argentina FC booed when Hornillos AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gaudencio Frutos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ladislao Procopio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Haroldo Lauaxeta recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 27 minutes into the game, Reynaldo Pierres cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Raul Gasteiz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 36th match minute, Argentina FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luisito Lizardi to maneuver through the defense. 37 minutes into the match, Hornillos AFC's Geronimo Ourente sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Eustaquio Chabier narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 41 played minutes Argentina FC got a freekick which was hit by Luisito Lizardi. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Reynaldo Pierres made the kick off in the second half. Raul Gasteiz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Reynaldo Pierres, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cristo Ramirez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 57th minute the ball was on its way in behind Hornillos AFC's goalkeeper Raul Gasteiz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Eustaquio Chabier stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cristo Ramirez's shot from short distance in the 63rd minute. After having played for 65 minutes, Ladislao Procopio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Argentina FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ladislao Procopio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 67 played minutes Argentina FC got a freekick which was hit by Haroldo Lauaxeta. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cristo Ramirez in the 74th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eustaquio Chabier prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Cristo Ramirez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ladislao Procopio in the 89th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Raul Gasteiz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Raul Gasteiz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ladislao Procopio in the 91st minute of the match. If Geronimo Ourente had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Geronimo Ourente's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 96thth minute, Eustaquio Chabier skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal.
