Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Zeledon Ramos took the kick off in the first half of the match. When Arnoldo Tancredo fell near the penalty area in the 2nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Goyena AFC's protests and gave Arnoldo Tancredo a yellow card for diving instead. Arnoldo Tancredo kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. Ceferino Pinto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leandro Gagriel having to interfere. Zeledon Ramos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Leandro Gagriel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Leandro Gagriel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zeledon Ramos in the 9th minute of play. Romulo Batista kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Victorino Viviano during the 15th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Ceferino Pinto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alvaro Frechoso in the 22nd minute of play forced Belgrano FC's goalkeeper Florencio Lartaun to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Alvaro Frechoso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Goyena AFC booed when Belgrano FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leopoldo Dominix didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 28thth minute of the game Saturnino Nerio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Belgrano FC's Florencio Lartaun was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After having played for 37 minutes, Zeledon Ramos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Belgrano FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zeledon Ramos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 40 minutes into the match, Zeledon Ramos dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Leandro Gagriel, 1-0. When Arnoldo Tancredo was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 44 minutes had been played. After 45 played minutes Goyena AFC got a freekick which was hit by Arnoldo Tancredo. Leandro Gagriel was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Carlos Lekubegi. In the 47th minute, Saturnino Nerio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Alvaro Frechoso was the one to do the kick off. Ceferino Pinto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Leandro Gagriel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Leandro Gagriel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zeledon Ramos, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Belgrano FC's Florencio Lartaun proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save Belgrano FC from getting a goal against them. If Zeledon Ramos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Goyena AFC getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Marciano Chepe hit a great ball. If Ceferino Pinto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Belgrano FC's Ceferino Pinto got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Zeledon Ramos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Zeledon Ramos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Leandro Gagriel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 84 played minutes Goyena AFC got a freekick which was hit by Marciano Chepe. In the 87th minute the ball was on its way in behind Goyena AFC's goalkeeper Leandro Gagriel, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 92 minutes into the game, Celestino Argoitz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Belgrano FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Goyena AFC the free kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alvaro Frechoso got free with Florencio Lartaun in the 96th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Belgrano FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
