In the 34th minute the ball was on its way in behind Tabaquillo FC's goalkeeper Silvestre Iyan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Pascual Nuñez was the one to do the kick off. Silvestre Iyan made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Filomeno Taurino sent off a good shot on target. Hernan Garcia breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Anibal Dorio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 62nd minute, Filomeno Taurino got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Tabaquillo FC's Laureano Lugo got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 67th minute, Higinio Nabar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Anibal Dorio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Silvestre Iyan having to interfere. Hernan Garcia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pascual Nuñez, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute.
