Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Rene Maidana made the kick off which started today's match. In the 3rd minute Cleto Astrada shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Evaristo Iruinea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Arnulfo Ostargi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 11 minutes into the match, Anasagasti's goal looked a bit too open when Rene Maidana came free, but Alvaro Misael reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arnulfo Ostargi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Alvaro Misael tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gerardo Matteo hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Arnulfo Ostargi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cacheuta FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Arnulfo Ostargi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alvaro Misael breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 21st minute, Timoteo Frascuelo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Honorato Nevada fell near the penalty area in the 26th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cacheuta FC's protests and gave Honorato Nevada a yellow card for diving instead. In the 27th minute of the match Silverio Lizardi shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Evaristo Iruinea showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 33rd minute of the match, Cleto Astrada tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Evaristo Iruinea saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Rene Maidana received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Alvaro Misael tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Emanuel Bastiaro kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cleto Astrada stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Cacheuta FC getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Anastasio Orti hit a great ball. Silverio Lizardi, 54 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Alvaro Misael showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rene Maidana, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. If Cleto Astrada had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 88th minute, Arnulfo Ostargi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 90th minute, Rene Maidana ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alvaro Misael was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 95th minute, Rene Maidana fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Cacheuta FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
