Upinango's Domingo Franco got a good chance for a goal in the 6th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Urbano's Esteban Fernendo in 9 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Oscar Nalo guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. Leandro Bartuelo hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. Gabriel Avellaneda recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 18th minute, Gabriel Avellaneda reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Bernardino Lapurdi. The goal made the score 1-0. Gabriel Avellaneda's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bernardino Lapurdi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 20th minute of play. Desiderio Frantzes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Desiderio Frantzes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Desiderio Frantzes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oscar Nalo having to interfere. 42 minutes into the match, Upinango's goal looked a bit too open when Desiderio Frantzes came free, but Oscar Nalo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Esteban Fernendo made a kick off. After some careless play in the Urbano defense, Gabriel Avellaneda kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bernardino Lapurdi. The Urbano fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bernardino Lapurdi should have stopped the shot. After 65 minutes, Albano Iruinea mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Urbano and the Upinango players grew even worse after the yellow card. The referee gave Upinango a penalty, 66 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Modesto Etxekopar, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Urbano's Bernardino Lapurdi. 3-1. In the 69th minute, Higinio Dominix hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Esteban Fernendo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Desiderio Frantzes got free with Oscar Nalo in the 74th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 76 minutes Upinango's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Albano Iruinea who took care of the corner kick. In the 78th minute Esteban Fernendo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oscar Nalo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Desiderio Frantzes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
