Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Nereo Haitz made the kick off which started today's match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lino Quintan during the 6th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Lino Quintan hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. In the 7th minute Nereo Haitz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Clodoveo Sasoin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Lamarque defense, Nereo Haitz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Clodoveo Sasoin. The Lamarque fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Clodoveo Sasoin should have stopped the shot. The supporters of Almafuerte booed when Lamarque was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hipolito Viator didn't get a good kick on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, Almafuerte's Gerardo Llin tried to score from far away in the 18th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Albino Figueroa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Clodoveo Sasoin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Federico Boni's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Ariel Valentine firmly grabbed it by the left post. Nereo Haitz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Florencio Ignatius received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Ariel Valentine tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 35 minutes of play, Almafuerte's Albino Figueroa made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Clodoveo Sasoin was left in no man's land by his defense there! Albino Figueroa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Clodoveo Sasoin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 42nd minute of play. Albino Figueroa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Clodoveo Sasoin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

With a little luck, Lamarque's Clodoveo Sasoin got control of the ball when Albino Figueroa tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Almafuerte booed when Lamarque was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gualterio Valerio didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Lamarque's Clodoveo Sasoin got control of the ball when Nereo Haitz tried to sneak it across the goal line. Nereo Haitz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Clodoveo Sasoin made a fantastic save in the 62nd minute, when Albino Figueroa sent off a good shot on target. Clodoveo Sasoin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nereo Haitz in the 68th minute of play. Juan Gorri hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. Almafuerte's Albino Figueroa got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 78th minute, Danilo Larra hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nereo Haitz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Clodoveo Sasoin having to interfere. When Juan Gorri fell near the penalty area in the 80th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lamarque's protests and gave Juan Gorri a yellow card for diving instead. After 80 played minutes Lamarque got a freekick which was hit by Juan Gorri. After a defensive mix-up in Lamarque's zone, Nereo Haitz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Clodoveo Sasoin came out of the goal and Nereo Haitz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Albino Figueroas short, quick shot in the 84thth minute got Clodoveo Sasoin to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Nereo Haitz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Clodoveo Sasoin having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Nereo Haitz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Almafuerte's supporters rose to their feet, but Nereo Haitz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Clodoveo Sasoin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 89 minutes, Albino Figueroa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Almafuerte's supporters crossed their fingers, but Albino Figueroa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Lamarque's Clodoveo Sasoin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nereo Haitz in the 91st minute of play. Clodoveo Sasoin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nereo Haitz in the 97th minute of play. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Almafuerte eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
