Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Leonides Manny started the match with the kick off. Leonides Manny received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Melchor Harri tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 7th minute, Prospero Ereinotz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mario Etor struck a weak shot in the 10th minute. Melchor Harri didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Protestante. The supporters of Loventuel booed when Protestante was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Osvaldo Abajas didn't get a good kick on the ball. 21 minutes into the match, Loventuel's goal looked a bit too open when Leonides Manny came free, but Melchor Harri reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Leonides Manny sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Leonides Manny fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Melchor Harri having to interfere. Melchor Harri came out of the goal in the 31st minute to try and stop a shot by Protestante's Leonides Manny. But to his dismay, Leonides Manny quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After 33 played minutes Loventuel got a freekick which was hit by Mauricio Bladi. Protestante's Isaac Harkaitz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 39th minute of the match, managed to save Protestante from getting a goal against them. Leonides Manny sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mario Etor recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Teo Milio was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute of the match, Leonides Manny tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Melchor Harri saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After 54 minutes of play, Protestante's Mario Etor made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Melchor Harri was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Protestante's Leonides Manny in the 58th minute got a chance for a shot 58th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Loventuel's goalie prevented a goal. Leonides Manny fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Melchor Harri having to interfere. The attack was good, but when Leonides Manny in the 63rd minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Mario Etor recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Isaac Harkaitz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Niceto Velasco in the 74th minute of the match. Mario Etor could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 78th minute of the match, but Melchor Harri made a huge save. After 79 minutes, Anibal Erdiano mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Protestante and the Loventuel players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 80th minute, Anibal Erdiano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 83 played minutes Protestante got a freekick which was hit by Anibal Erdiano. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Agustin Sal during the 92nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Isaac Harkaitz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Teo Milio's shot from short distance in the 97th minute. Protestante's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
