Nereo Osorio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 20 minutes into the match, Vinará's goalkeeper Nereo Osorio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Evelio Nuno. 21 minutes into the match, Vinará's goal looked a bit too open when Anselmo Ferrando came free, but Nereo Osorio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ulises Alvarez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eustaquio Gaur in the 23rd minute of the match. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nereo Osorio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Evelio Nuno struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Nereo Osorio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rincón AFC. Nereo Osorio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anselmo Ferrando in the 34th minute of play. In the 38th minute, Evelio Nuno left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Rincón AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Dionisio Polentzi hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Vinará's Leonides Ourente got a free kick in the 45th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Anselmo Ferrando in the 46th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nereo Osorio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Rincón AFC booed when Vinará was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Froilan Cilio didn't get a good kick on the ball.

Evelio Nuno fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nereo Osorio having to interfere. In the 56th minute, Eustaquio Gaur fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Ulises Alvarez, passed just outside the right post. Ulises Alvarez made a fantastic save in the 58th minute, when Eustaquio Gaur sent off a good shot on target. 62 minutes into the match, Rincón AFC's goalkeeper Ulises Alvarez had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eustaquio Gaur. Vinará's Elvio Katia got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Eustaquio Gaur sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 70th minute, Rincón AFC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Elvio Katia fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Ulises Alvarez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elvio Katia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nereo Osorio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anselmo Ferrando, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. The audience was convinced that Evelio Nuno's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nereo Osorio was relentless in the 82nd minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elvio Katia in the 84th minute of play forced Rincón AFC's goalkeeper Ulises Alvarez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rincón AFC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
