Severino Aragones made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maximiliano Lauren in the 3rd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 5th minute, Benedicto Nuxila managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ciudadela's supporters rose to their feet, but Benedicto Nuxila was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Severino Aragones breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 7th minute Cristian Chorche shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elvio Cordarrell saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Elisa FC booed when Ciudadela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benedicto Nuxila didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 9th minute, Enzo Bernal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ciudadela's Elvio Cordarrell proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 10th minute of the match, managed to save Ciudadela from getting a goal against them. Dante Fonda received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Elvio Cordarrell tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 23rd minute, Eustaquio Gombal ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Elvio Cordarrell was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. The crowd rose to their feet as Elisa FC's Enzo Bernal slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Elvio Cordarrell. That made the score 2-0 after 29 minutes of play. Severino Aragones stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Maximiliano Lauren's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. Elisa FC's Severino Aragones played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Severiano Haritz in the 36th minute of play. Maximiliano Lauren recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 48th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

In the 85thth minute of the game Severiano Haritz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Elisa FC's Severino Aragones was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 88 minutes into the match, Maximiliano Lauren had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Severino Aragones. Elisa FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Maximiliano Lauren was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. With a little luck, Elisa FC's Severino Aragones got control of the ball when Maximiliano Lauren tried to sneak it across the goal line. Elisa FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
