Hugo Kiliz charged in rather forcefully in the 5th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hugo Kiliz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Hugo Kiliz hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. In the 12th match minute, Armstrong FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jacobo Rivero to maneuver through the defense. Recoleta FC's Rolando Romelio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jacobo Rivero in the 17th minute of play. Maximino Inguma received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Rolando Romelio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Armstrong FC's Maximino Inguma got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Maximino Inguma had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rolando Romelio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Uriel Gitano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Uriel Gitano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rolando Romelio having to interfere. The supporters of Armstrong FC booed when Recoleta FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anastasio Urko didn't get a good kick on the ball. Maximino Inguma sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Modesto Cesaro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fidel Elazar read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 44th minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Armstrong FC's Maximino Inguma managed to work through Recoleta FC's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Maximino Inguma dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Fidel Elazar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Modesto Cesaro, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. In the 62nd minute, Maximino Inguma got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Rolando Romelio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Uriel Gitano in the 66th minute of the match. The supporters of Armstrong FC booed when Recoleta FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Delmar Bertol didn't get a good kick on the ball. Celedonio Corderall kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. After recieving a nice pass, Recoleta FC's Aurelio Oinatz tried to score from far away in the 71st minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. The Recoleta FC fans' excitement grew in the 74th match minute when Recoleta FC's Modesto Cesaro looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. If Uriel Gitano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 82 minutes, Jacobo Rivero mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Armstrong FC and the Recoleta FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Armstrong FC's Jacobo Rivero got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Modesto Cesaro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Fidel Elazar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Recoleta FC booed when Armstrong FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dionisio Curcio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Armstrong FC's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Recoleta FC had won, even though Armstrong FC had held more of the ball.
