Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Rodolfo Salvator got the match started through his kick off. Gualterio Ieltxu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Severino Fero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Augusto Seber, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Severino Fero made a fantastic save in the 7th minute, when Gualterio Ieltxu sent off a good shot on target. Verna's Augusto Seber got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 9th minute, Gualterio Ieltxu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The Cachi fans' excitement grew in the 12th match minute when Cachi's Rodolfo Salvator looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Verna's Reynaldo Martinez suffered a concussion after 18 minutes and had to leave the field. 18 minutes into the game, Serafino Uhin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cachi's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Verna the free kick. In the 18th match minute, Cachi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Serafino Uhin to maneuver through the defense. Gualterio Ieltxu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Severino Fero made a huge save. 24 minutes into the game, Gualterio Ieltxu recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Severino Fero. Gualterio Ieltxu showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. When Humberto Romelio fell near the penalty area in the 28th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cachi's protests and gave Humberto Romelio a yellow card for diving instead. After 28 played minutes Cachi got a freekick which was hit by Humberto Romelio. Cachi's Severino Fero proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save Cachi from getting a goal against them. Gualterio Ieltxu's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Severino Fero firmly grabbed it by the left post. Angelo Cheche struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Severino Fero didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Verna. Verna's Fausto Bembe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Serafino Uhin in the 41st minute of play. Angelo Cheche's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Severino Fero read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 46th minute of play. Enrique Hotz kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gualterio Ieltxu made a kick off. Fausto Bembe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rodolfo Salvator, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Rodolfo Salvator recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Verna booed when Cachi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Enrique Hotz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Severino Fero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gualterio Ieltxu, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. In the 85th match minute, Cachi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Enrique Hotz to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Gualterio Ieltxu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Verna's supporters rose to their feet, but Gualterio Ieltxu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Severino Fero breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 94 minutes into the match, Cachi's goal looked a bit too open when Gualterio Ieltxu came free, but Severino Fero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Verna booed when Cachi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Enrique Hotz didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 98th minute, Gualterio Ieltxu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Verna's supporters rose to their feet, but Gualterio Ieltxu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Severino Fero breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Verna walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
