Emilio Pereyra kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. Aaron Gustau's late challenge caught a Copacabana FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Aaron Gustau helped the player get up and apologised. The Copacabana FC fans' excitement grew in the 7th match minute when Copacabana FC's Fernando Natal looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 13 minutes into the match, Aurelia's goal looked a bit too open when Everardo Lleir came free, but Samuel Ciceron reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Samuel Ciceron took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Everardo Lleir, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Aurelia defense, Fernando Natal kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Samuel Ciceron. The Aurelia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Samuel Ciceron should have stopped the shot. Genaro Oihan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Armando Gai in the 19th minute of play. Ceferino Gergori kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. If Lucas Betadur had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 28th match minute, Aurelia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Armando Gai to maneuver through the defense. Marcial Xabier's late challenge caught a Copacabana FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. In the 32nd minute there was a penalty for Copacabana FC. Pedro Palben stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Samuel Ciceron. 0-3. Lucas Betadur sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Armando Gai received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Genaro Oihan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 44 minutes into the game, Fernando Natal cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Samuel Ciceron was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 47th match minute, Copacabana FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lisandro Manny to maneuver through the defense. Genaro Oihan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lucas Betadur in the 49th minute. The Aurelia players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Copacabana FC were winning 0-4.

The supporters of Copacabana FC booed when Aurelia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joaquin Iruinea didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 57 minutes, Lucas Betadur managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Aurelia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lucas Betadur was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Everardo Lleir sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Everardo Lleir who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 71stth minute tested the skills of Samuel Ciceron when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Aaron Gustau hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Fernando Natal kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Samuel Ciceron. That made the score 0-5 in the 72 minute of play. Everardo Lleir received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Samuel Ciceron tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Genaro Oihan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Armando Gai in the 78th minute of the match. After 79 played minutes Aurelia got a freekick which was hit by Marcial Xabier. Copacabana FC's Pedro Palben shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 81st minute of play. The shot was stopped by Samuel Ciceron but with some difficulty. Genaro Oihan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Armando Gai in the 87th minute of play. In the 99th minute, Fernando Natal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The Copacabana FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Copacabana FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
