The crowd rose to their feet as Casavindo FC's Mariano Txilar slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Joaquin Sancho. That made the score 1-0 after 27 minutes of play. In the 31st minute the ball was on its way in behind Taquimilán AFC's goalkeeper Joaquin Sancho, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 44th minute, Ermegildo Mel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 46th match minute, Casavindo FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Federico Gumaro to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Diego Odol during the 47th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Taquimilán AFC getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Diego Odol hit a great ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Anibal Fe to make the kick off. Denis Bartoli recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Anibal Fe, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 56 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Santo Telo was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. The supporters of Taquimilán AFC booed when Casavindo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Remigio Aguilera didn't get a good kick on the ball. Diego Odol succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-1 in the 60th playminute. Albino Frasco kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Taquimilán AFC's Joaquin Sancho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Denis Bartoli in the 63rd minute of play. Diego Odol received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Santo Telo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Diego Odol had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Diego Odol sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mariano Txilar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Joaquin Sancho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Santo Telo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Diego Odol in the 76th minute. Mariano Txilar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Casavindo FC's Santo Telo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anibal Fe in the 90th minute of play. After having played for 91 minutes, Anibal Fe managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Taquimilán AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Anibal Fe was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Remigio Aguilera kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Taquimilán AFC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
