Resbalito FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Leonides Gutxi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luciano Roderigo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tomás Abecia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Fausto Txilar took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 15th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Luciano Roderigo. Sumampa's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 17 minutes, Teodoro Iigo successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 18 minutes into the match, Resbalito FC's goalkeeper Teodoro Iigo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Victoriano Estebe. 19 minutes into the game, one of Resbalito FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 21st minute there was a penalty for Sumampa. Nemesio Licerio stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Teodoro Iigo. 1-0. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomás Abecia couldn't finish the play. Sumampa's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomás Abecia was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Resbalito FC's Fausto Txilar got a free kick in the 65th minute. In the 67th minute of the match Nemesio Licerio shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Teodoro Iigo showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 69th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sumampa's goalkeeper Luciano Roderigo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 71 minutes into the match, Sumampa's Nemesio Licerio sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Teodoro Iigo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Leonides Gutxi hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. If Tomás Abecia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Resbalito FC's Teodoro Iigo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomás Abecia in the 85th minute of play. Teodoro Iigo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victoriano Estebe in the 87th minute of play. Clodoveo Errando's late challenge caught a Resbalito FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Clodoveo Errando helped the player get up and apologised. Clodoveo Errando kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match.
