When the match clock showed 13 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Guido Oihan sped through Schaqui AFC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Clemente Ortzi. The Schaqui AFC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Irene were winning 0-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Nunez Artal stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Guido Oihan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Clemente Ortzi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 78th minute of play. Nunez Artal was extremely unlucky when he, in the 82nd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Irene's Guido Oihan got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Schaqui AFC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Irene's performance. The match ended with a win for Irene.
