After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Guido Oihan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Irene's supporters rose to their feet, but Guido Oihan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hipolito Miro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Guido Oihan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Hipolito Miro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gabriel Etxekopar in the 64th minute of play forced Irene's goalkeeper Jorge Gil to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rafael Frichoso took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 73rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Jorge Gil. Irene's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Jorge Gil showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cipriano Iraido, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. A collision led to Aguilares getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Higinio Oliveiro hit a great ball. Gabriel Etxekopar struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Jorge Gil didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Aguilares. If Gabriel Etxekopar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aguilares's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
