With a couple of smart ball manuevers Paulo Dolfos in the 5th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Anibal Gaizkine saved Warnes FC from getting behind. If Narciso Liher had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Simon Tadzio got free with Freddy Kinsen in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 17 minutes into the match, Paulo Dolfos had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Anibal Gaizkine. Warnes FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Paulo Dolfos was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Paulo Dolfos managed to get in a good position for a shot. Puissoye AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Paulo Dolfos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Anibal Gaizkine breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paulo Dolfos in the 23rd minute of play forced Warnes FC's goalkeeper Anibal Gaizkine to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Paulo Dolfos might have been able to make a better finish in the 25th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Anibal Gaizkine. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Paulo Dolfos ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 26th minute, one of Puissoye AFC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Puissoye AFC. Warnes FC's Ernesto Galsino got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 36 minutes in the game, Ernesto Galsino fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Freddy Kinsen having to interfere. Freddy Kinsen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Narciso Liher in the 40th minute of play. Puissoye AFC's Paulo Dolfos got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Marcelino Regis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Anibal Gaizkine tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Puissoye AFC's Freddy Kinsen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 48th minute of the match, managed to save Puissoye AFC from getting a goal against them.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Narciso Liher stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Narciso Liher fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Freddy Kinsen having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Paulo Dolfos's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Anibal Gaizkine was relentless in the 55th minute of the game. If Marcelino Regis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 61st minute, Marcelino Regis fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Warnes FC's Anibal Gaizkine proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 71st minute of the match, managed to save Warnes FC from getting a goal against them. Paulo Dolfos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 92nd minute Narciso Liher shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Freddy Kinsen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 98 minutes into the match, Narciso Liher notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Puissoye AFC's Freddy Kinsen. Freddy Kinsen was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
