Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Everardo Rumaldo took the kick off in the first half of the match. An unexpected shot in the 5th minute by Gerardo Telo got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After 7 minutes, Fidel Ciano mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mixta AFC and the Carrizal players grew even worse after the yellow card. When the match had been going on for 9 minutes, Carrizal's Mauro Silviano got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Ruben Gauargi. Joel Norino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Ruben Gauargi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Gerardo Telo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ruben Gauargi. That made the score 2-0 in the 14 minute of play. Joel Norino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Julio Dominguez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Zeledon Fonda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Everardo Rumaldo in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Zeledon Fonda prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Zeledon Fonda showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Everardo Rumaldo, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. The supporters of Mixta AFC booed when Carrizal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rodolfo Dantel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rodolfo Dantel hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. In the 36th minute Gerardo Telo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ruben Gauargi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 42 minutes into the game, Leopoldo Gomez was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Carrizal's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mixta AFC the free kick. Leopoldo Gomez kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

If Gerardo Telo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Joel Norino struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Ruben Gauargi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Carrizal. Mauro Silviano kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. 65 minutes into the match, Carrizal's goal looked a bit too open when Everardo Rumaldo came free, but Zeledon Fonda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gerardo Telo in the 70th minute a chance for a shot on goal. Gabriel Tohias hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Ruben Gauargi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mauro Silviano in the 81st minute of the match. Gerardo Telo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 92 played minutes Carrizal got a freekick which was hit by Saul Berbiz.
