Tehuelches AFC's Narciso Hernando played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felix Romildo in the 3rd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gustavo Timo got free with Narciso Hernando in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gustavo Timo succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 17th playminute. Jeremias Cesaro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Narciso Hernando tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Felix Romildo in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Narciso Hernando saved Tehuelches AFC from getting behind. Jeremias Cesaro kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. After 31 played minutes, Tehuelches AFC's Agustin Matro shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Claudio Etxatxu came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Tehuelches AFC reached it. Narciso Hernando made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gustavo Timo in the 33rd minute. In the 35th minute, Baltasar Luke got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Tehuelches AFC booed when Chiriguanos AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cipriano Urtungo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Robustiano Idacio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Claudio Etxatxu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Baltasar Luke, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Robustiano Idacio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tehuelches AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Robustiano Idacio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Claudio Etxatxu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 43rd minute, Gustavo Timo fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

In the 52nd match minute, Tehuelches AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Niceto Liberto to maneuver through the defense. If Felix Romildo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Inocencio Argoitz's late challenge caught a Chiriguanos AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Inocencio Argoitz helped the player get up and apologised. Inocencio Argoitz hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Baltasar Luke charged in rather forcefully in the 55th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Baltasar Luke the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Chiriguanos AFC booed when Tehuelches AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Baltasar Luke didn't get a good kick on the ball. Chiriguanos AFC's Gustavo Timo got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 75th minute Baltasar Luke shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Claudio Etxatxu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 76th minute the ball was on its way in behind Tehuelches AFC's goalkeeper Narciso Hernando, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.
